Wondering if the lived experience of any organisational culture can be told apart by where it sits on three axes:
- Units. What owns an outcome, and so where decisions sit: the work, with people interchangeable around the process, versus the individual versus the team.
- Standards. How the bar is held: minimal, where standards barely exist, versus malleable, where they flex to whatever the situation needs, versus maximal, where they are high and fixed.
- Errors. What happens when something goes wrong: blame allocated versus overlooked, neither punished nor learned from, versus leveraged into learning.
